Nathan and Logan got to play with their cousin Lauren today. They had SO much fun that they fell fast asleep on the way home.

Nathan is getting tubes in his ears

Nathan had his appointment with the ENT today. After and exam and MUCH discussion, we decided to go ahead with tubes. His surgery is on May 1st. The Dr was mostly concerned with Nathan's speech delay. Although he's come A LONG way since he started talking in the fall, the Dr feels like he should be articulating his words much better by now. He thinks it will help Nathan's hearing and speech and help avoid speech therapy in the future.

Poor Logan

Logan spent the evening at the ER last night. He ws just NOT his usual happy self when he got home. Sure enough...double ear infections...AGAIN! Poor baby threw up all over BOTH of us while we were there. It was so bad that Daddy and Nathan had to bring us a change of clothes. I really hope he's not heading toward tubes in his ears like Nathan, but I'm afraid we will be discussing it at his checkup next week. He seemed to be much better today as Nonna reported he was back to being Mr. Happy! He played with Nathan this evening and was "walking" all over the place. Nathan has his appointment with the ENT tomorrow, so I will keep everyone posted on what they say.

Coloring Easter Eggs

This was the first year that Nathan really got into coloring Easter eggs. Once I set up the cups and eggs, he just went to town! He sat there for about 45 minutes coloring...and re-coloring...eggs. He had so much fun that I'm thinking of starting a new tradition with Halloween and Christmas eggs! :)

Meeting Fred Bird and Spongebob!

I'm a little late posting this, but on Saturday we took the boys to the St. Louis Family Expo. Thank God we had Nonna and Aunt Suzanne with us or it wouldn't have gone quite so smoothly! Nathan really liked Spongebob. He even gave him a hug. Logan was too preoccupied with a balloon to even care about anything else. The kid LOVES balloons!...

Well, we knew it was coming but we were hoping it would be a while yet. Nathan hit Logan right between the eyes with a book tonite...it was a hardback kids book too! He kept kissing Logan and saying he was sorry, but I'm sure that's just round 1!

Obsessed with Glasses!

I think I've got the only kid in the world who will be elated if he needs glasses in the future! I thought I'd take a little stroll down memory lane and share the "many faces of Nathan"...

Uh oh, It's starting again!...

Easter Bunny

The boys had their picture taken with the Easter Bunny on Sunday. On the way there, Nathan kept saying "I gonna hug easter bunny, I gonna kiss easter bunny." He changed his mind about the kiss when he actually SAW the easter bunny! They had a blast and Logan REALLY loved that bunny. He kept squealing every time he saw him and had the BIGGEST grin on his face.

Nathan had his first dental checkup EVER today. I'm amazed at how "big" he is! He followed instructions and really seemed to enjoy it...I guess he should, since we've been practicing for a year and a half now!lol
